Whenever we have the opportunity, we share our knowledge and experience internationally. That’s why we’ve been since 2009. members of the global network for better working conditions in the textile industry, Clean Clothes Campaign, and from 2022. the global trade union. We regularly participate in their seminars and conferences, in order to connect and transfer the acquired knowledge to our members.
In cooperation with the organization Zora from Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have already conducted seminars as part of their workers ‘ Academy for trade union commissioners and members of two textile unions.
We have participated in campaigns for better legislation at European level, e.g. in discussions on the sustainable business due diligence directive (CSDDD), we also organized some educational workshops on this topic, e.g. workshop and panel discussion with young people in Šibenik entitled ‘Who is responsible for human rights violations and environmental damage’.
Since the context in which trade unions work has changed greatly since our founding and today there is less domestic labor force and more unionized unprotected foreign workers, we are trying to keep up with the Times and from 2023. we deal with working conditions for delivery platforms (Wolt, Glovo etc.) in cooperation with the Wolt delivery Community Initiative (reWolt).
We organized educational workshops through the Zoom platform, since workers are scattered in various places, and several protests that resulted in better conditions being achieved by domestic workers working in this system.
